OUR PURPOSE

Our purpose is to spur our listeners on to a commitment to Christ personally as well as within a group of Christian believers.

OUR MISSION
Our mission is to promote the message of Jesus Christ in new and creative ways.

OUR VISION
Our vision is to see relationship connections strengthened and new ones created between young and old, and between Christians and non-Christians.

OUR BELIEFS
We believe in pursuing God’s call and purpose for our lives. We believe in keeping our faith in Jesus in the midst of doubt. We believe in showing love to those around us, even our enemies. We believe in being a positive influence, in making a difference in others lives, and in a hope that only comes from trusting in Jesus. It's our intention that the music we play conveys these beliefs

LETTER OF RECOMENDATION
Middletree came out to our ACCESS Youth Concert Night on March14, 2008. I want to give a shout out to all youth pastors who are
searching for the right band, with the right spirit, the right sound, and the right direction to help their youth grow closer to Christ. I've had the pleasure of showcasing over thirty bands during my years of ministry and can honestly say, Middletree delivered everything I hope for when bringing in a band who is new to ACCESS. Individually and collectively the members of Middletree are clearly centered in Christ, with a tremendous desire to bring that relationship to all who are in their presence. I also should mention the special gift the band brings by travelling with their own artist, Shane, who shares the message of Christ by painting during the show. Greg and the other members of Middletree need to play at your church or event as soon as you can book them." Mark Mals, Youth Director, ACCESS Youth Ministry, Christ Church Cranbrook, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.

LETTER OF RECOMENDATION
Not only is the music of Middletree relevant to the youth of today, but they take the time to build relationships with their audience. They are a breath of fresh air to Christian music and their ministry goes far beyond songs. Please don't hesitate to call for more info. LETTER OF RECOMENDATION
Greg Traviss and MiddleTree have been a real blessing to our ministry here on Mackinac Island. The Mackinac Island Bible Church has an aggressive outreach program during the summer months. Not only was their music and abilities outstanding, their ministry heart was in the right place. Our event did not attract as many people as we wanted, but that did not keep this group from giving their all. I am always looking for ministry-minded people and MiddleTree is that. Greg does a fabulous job leading worship and was very flexible to our unique needs here. I do not hesitate at all in recommending Middletree for your next concert or event. - Pastor Ken Straight - Mackinac Island Bible Church.

LETTER OF RECOMENDATION
Friends in Christ, We invited MiddleTree to play for a youth event in November of 2005. Our youth were so excited that we had double the usual attendance for this concert! As the band played, the kids came alive. The music was exciting, and the message, encouraging. Middle Tree connected with the audience in a way that I've never seen at a concert. It was clear that their priority was to glorify God and to share His blessings with us. They not only sang original songs, but they also led us in praise and worship and shared openly, allowing themselves to be transparent and real. After the concert, they hung out with the youth and showed sincere interest in what they had to say. Our kids were energized, encouraged, and I don't think they wanted to go home! It was awesome! In Christ, Jenny Deweese, Youth Leader at First Church of the Brethren, Drayton Plains, MI.

LETTER OF RECOMENDATION
Our introduction to MiddleTree came on a blustery, snowy evening near the end of April. Our vision was hundreds of high school kids sharing their faith to a great rock band. God's vision, though not the same as ours, was to solidify himself in the hearts of the all the people embarking on this new teen ministry. The performance and production was superb. The lighting, films, filmstrip, testimony and interaction with the crowd were only the background to words and music that touch your heart (which is beating a great deal faster due to all the jumping around). A superb mix of original music, testimony, praise and worship and prayer makes the time fly but, the words and praise to God linger in your heart. The reasons behind the lyrics add to the phenomenal mixture and tell great stories of God's work in life. MiddleTree goes above and beyond their mission. The personal interaction with our group was just amazing. The individual trials shared through conversations, although casual and off the cuff, left a lasting impression on the teen founders of this new group. They realized that many others have walked the not so traveled road of spreading the word, and God will provide. The Crew would like to thank MiddleTree for their strong faith, excellent music, divine lyrics, prayer, and insightful testimony. Through your ministry of music we learned God is the captain....we are just "The Crew". He will provide, and the glory is his!!!! Rich & Mindy Hibner, Co-Leaders of "The Crew", Chapel Lane Presbyterian, Midland, MI (989) 631-2081.

LETTER OF APPRECIATION
Dear Greg, Wow! Man is God good! The ministry of music you and your group shared with us was a blessing and we are so grateful God brought the concert together the way He did. We want you to know that your testimony, time of prayer together as a group and presentation of Jesus Christ as King of King and Lord of Lords was both uplifting and an inspiration to all who attended the concert. We will continue to support you in prayer and should the Lord tarry, perhaps we will again share in the ministry of music together. Please express to your band our deepest appreciation for the ministry you all shared with us. Sincerely in Christ, Pastor Clif Burritt, Boon Baptist Church 231-775-7775

LETTER OF RECOMENDATION
Dear youth leaders, ministers, and any Christian who may read this: I would like to tell you a little more about Greg and Heather Traviss. After my wife and I married in May 2000, we moved into an apartment next door to Greg and Heather. It did not take long to see that they both have a genuine, vibrant faith in God and in Christ. We enjoyed the times that we were able to get together with Greg and Heather. I felt refreshed and had more joy after talking with them. As a collegially trained musician, I tend to be quite critical and selective in my appreciation and support of Christian bands and musicians. However, I have always admired and enjoyed Greg’s musical abilities, from the time he played in a very good band called “Without Excuse” to his work now. On March 28th of 2004, he, Heather, and two of their friends played in a packed room of 50 people for our Youth Coffeehouse. We have never had so many people attend a youth event before, and I’m glad our attendance was so high this particular night. Greg’s musical performance was excellent, his on-stage demeanor was engaging and fun, and his explanations of songs and readings of Scripture were edifying. He and the rest of the group also took time out to mingle with the kids, and made efforts to learn their names and what their lives were like. Without any reservation, I highly recommend Greg and Heather Traviss. You will not be disappointed in any way in terms of their Christian character, Scriptural depth, or musical excellence. In Christ, Ryan Apple, Youth Minister of East Superior Christian Church Alma MI (989) 463-1502
